Robert "Bobby" is a driven and experienced financial professional with expertise in valuation, strategy, financial modeling, process improvement, and project management. Bobby currently serves as the CFO of a Series A FinTech company. 

 

Bobby has an extensive corporate finance background with experience at both public and private companies. Prior to his work with LionShare Partners Bobby was a Vice President of Finance and Affiliate Strategic Initiatives at Legg Mason. His experience at Legg Mason gave him exposure to business strategy, complex M&A transactions, and operational finance. While at Legg Mason Bobby worked on five M&A transactions, a corporate restructure, and managed intangible asset valuations.

 

Bobby started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory in Manhattan where he was a senior associate in asset management advisory and was first exposed to large-scale project management, strategy, and M&A transactions. Among other projects, Bobby managed the client acceptance workstream of over 12 resources for the conversion of a hedge fund back office onto a custody platform and managed the project management office for the integration of a regional trust company post-acquisition. Bobby was an active contributor to thought leadership focusing mainly on the long-term impact of the financial crisis on the asset management industry.

 

Bobby has a master’s degree in Finance and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering both from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, Bobby has been active in executive and continuing education and taken courses in valuation, statistics, financial modeling, and value-based healthcare.
