Richard Topaz is an associate at Miles & Stockbridge P.C. in Baltimore, MD where Richard is a member of their Real Estate and Transactional Finance Practice Group.
Most recently, he worked as an associate with the real estate practice at another Baltimore law firm, where he handled a broad range of commercial matters, including leasing, financing, and acquisition and disposition of real property. He also has experience with litigation, business law, intellectual property, and environmental and energy law matters.
Previously he was an associate at Mintz & Gold LLP in New York City and a judicial intern for The Honorable Jaime A. Rios at the New York State Supreme Court.
He graduated in 2012 from the Fordham University School of Law, where he was an associate editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal, served on the moot court editorial board and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. Richard earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008.
